Sydnie Horton is a talented graphic/industrial designer and has been
taking pictures her entire life. Her creative vision and design
perspective that she learned while earning her Bachelor of Science
degree in Industrial Design at the Georgia Institute
of Technology contributes to her enigmatic photographs.
Design is her life and on the very special days she can get lost in
black and white photography.
Sydnie grew up in Rome, GA. Some of the most
meaningful and beautiful photographs in this collection were taken
in Rome. She believes that every place has a distint time that
it was
meant
to
be captured and treasured. Most just don't take the time to see
the magical in the mundane. May you all see magic in your
lives every day. |

I owe thanks
to my family, my parents, sister, and husband, who encourage
me so much and who have helped me become the person
I am today. They
taught me values of self-responsibility and hard work, and were
always supportive of pursuing my dreams. They showered me
with love, kindness and care,
and I am lucky to have been blessed with the family I have.
I also owe thanks to my friends – the
informal family of people I wasn’t born with, but who nevertheless
have shown me so much love and caring. All the pals I have learned
from and gotten so much help from, in good times and bad, deserve
my gratitude and thanks. My friends that understand the hardship
of studio at 3 am and, the ones I simply hang out with, the ones
I know intimately and those that
I know more casually – I love you all. Thanks.
